My Story

I grew up in Romania, where we ate what we grew and cooked every meal from scratch. Our food was simple, homegrown, and full of nutrients.

During Romania's communist rule, everyone had to learn how to live off the land. Bread made from freshly milled, nutritious flour was a staple of our diet. My great-grandparents ran the village mill, selling flour and opening their doors to weary travelers as part of the underground church. Their home was a place of hospitality and warmth in a very dark time.

Flourish Mill & Grain was inspired by their legacy, and in that same spirit, we hope to be a beacon of light, hospitality, and nourishment. From our family to yours.
